At St Peter’s, we believe that all the skills of language are essential to participating fully as a member of society.
Children are taught to speak and write fluently so that they can communicate their ideas and emotions to others, and through their reading and listening, others can communicate with them. Through reading, children have a chance to develop culturally, emotionally, intellectually, socially and spiritually. Reading also enables children both to acquire knowledge and to build on what they already know.
"Strong relationships built upon Christian values are at the heart of this church school and result in a passion and drive to ensure the all-round development of the children."
